One Connected System
Recovery and performance should not live in separate worlds.
Whetstone is being built to connect Physical Therapy, Sports & Human Performance, and Recovery & Readiness around one purpose: greater physical capability. People may begin with an injury, surgery, athletic development, active adulthood, or simply the desire to become stronger and more durable. Needs may change over time, but the direction remains connected—toward confident movement, greater capacity, and readiness for the demands of sport and life.
Who Whetstone Serves
For those rebuilding capability—and those ready to develop more.
Whetstone is intended to serve people at different points in their physical development—from navigating pain or a return from injury to preparing for higher demands in sport, work, and life.
01Recover & Return
For orthopedic and post-operative patients, injured athletes, return-to-sport athletes, and active adults limited by musculoskeletal pain or restriction. The focus is a deliberate path back to movement, strength, confidence, and the demands that matter in daily life or sport.
02Develop & Perform
For healthy developing athletes, high-school and collegiate competitors, adult performance clients, and active adults pursuing greater strength, conditioning, durability, and long-term physical capability. The emphasis is purposeful development of the qualities needed to train, compete, and remain capable over time.
Teams, coaches, schools, and organizations seeking a more connected performance relationship may also talk with Whetstone.
Three Connected Disciplines
Distinct roles. One connected direction.
Whetstone is built around three connected disciplines, each serving a distinct role in restoring, developing, and sustaining physical capability.
01Physical Therapy
Clinician-led orthopedic rehabilitation for injuries, post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal pain or limitation, and the demands of returning to activity or sport. The process is intended to understand what is limiting you, what your life or sport requires, and how to build meaningful capability through a purposeful, individualized plan. The objective extends beyond reducing symptoms—to restore movement, strength, confidence, and a clear connection to future performance goals.

Assessment-led training for developing athletes, high-school and collegiate competitors, adult performance clients, and those progressing from rehabilitation into higher demands. Programming is intended to reflect individual goals, readiness, current capacity, and the physical demands ahead—developing strength, speed, power, conditioning, mobility, durability, and movement competency through clear purpose and progression.
Get Early Access →03Recovery & Readiness
Purposeful recovery should prepare you for what comes next. Recovery & Readiness is intended to support rehabilitation and training through decisions informed by current needs, workload, mobility, adaptation, and the demands ahead. For athletes and active adults, it completes the connected system by helping sustain physical capability—not by serving as a passive, spa-style add-on.
Get Early Access → Assessment With Purpose
Measure what matters. Use it to make a decision.
Assessment should clarify what matters for the person in front of us—not create data for its own sake. What is measured should reflect the service, condition, goals, current capacity, and readiness. When appropriate, a meaningful baseline gives care or training a direction. The plan can then be built and executed with a clearer understanding of where someone is starting and what the next step requires. Reassessment is useful when it helps determine whether that plan should continue, progress, or change. Whetstone intends to translate relevant findings into decisions people can understand and act on.
- 01
Measure & Establish
Measure where appropriate and establish a baseline that has meaning.
- 02
Build & Execute
Turn that starting point into a purposeful plan and clear next steps.
- 03
Reassess & Adjust
Use relevant change to decide whether the plan should progress or adapt.
A connected approach
From setback to your next standard.
We do not separate recovery from performance. We create a clear path between the two.
- 01
Evaluate
Understand the whole picture—not just the painful part.
- 02
Restore
Rebuild capacity with clear, individualized care.
- 03
Refine
Turn good movement into stronger performance.
- 04
Perform
Return ready, resilient, and prepared to keep progressing.
Connected Continuity
Recovery is not the finish line.
Returning from injury is one milestone. Returning to the strength, capacity, confidence, and physical demands of sport, training, work, recreation, or an active life may require another step. Whetstone’s Return-to-Performance pathway is intended to connect rehabilitation with structured performance work so progress does not stop at the first return to activity. The connection is also intended to work in reverse: when a training client develops pain or injury, there should be a responsible path toward clinical evaluation and rehabilitation, then back toward training when appropriate. People may enter Whetstone at different points, but the aim is continuity between what they have restored and what they need to do next.

Purposeful pathways for developing capability.
Programming is intended to reflect developmental stage, readiness, goals, and experience—not age alone. These pathways represent launch intent and areas of interest; final formats and availability will develop with staffing, capacity, and fit.
011:1 Performance
A premium private-training pathway intended for people who need focused attention, highly individualized coaching, or especially specific direction. Programming would be built around the client’s goals, readiness, experience, and current capacity.
Get Early Access →02Semi-Private Performance
Individualized programming delivered in a small-group environment. Clients may train alongside others while following a plan shaped by their own needs, goals, readiness, and appropriate training frequency. Final group structure and availability will depend on launch capacity.
Get Early Access →03Adult Performance
A serious performance pathway for adults pursuing strength, conditioning, mobility, power, durability, and long-term physical capability—without the feel of a boot camp or a diluted version of athlete training.
Get Early Access →04Return-to-Performance
A future structured bridge from rehabilitation toward the demands of sport, training, work, recreation, or active life. It is intended for people who need another step between returning to activity and being ready to perform.
Get Early Access →05Team / Organization Performance
An inquiry-based pathway for teams, coaches, schools, clubs, and athletic organizations. Opportunities would depend on capacity, fit, staffing, and the program arrangement; inquiry does not imply guaranteed availability or an existing partnership.
Talk to Whetstone → Why Whetstone
One direction across changing needs.
Whetstone is being built around a connected operating model: understand the person, make relevant decisions, and support physical capability as needs evolve.
01Connected Continuity
Physical therapy, performance training, and recovery are often treated as separate stops. Whetstone is being built to create a clearer direction as needs change.
02Individual Direction
Care and training should reflect the person’s goals, readiness, current capacity, and physical demands—not default to a generic template.
03Beyond Symptoms
Reducing pain can be one milestone. Capability, confidence, readiness, and durability matter too, while purposeful measurement helps determine what should happen next.
04Long-Term Capability
Whetstone is intended to support people over time as they recover, develop, train, and adapt within a human-performance environment built around meaningful progress.

Raise the standard.
Stronger movement.
